Good. Make sure that you define your target audience precisely - consider their media habits. You also need to make a few more references to existing media products.
The media habits of my target audience are varied. Being a younger audience, they would be more aware of recent technologies in media, perhaps using the Internet on a regular basis, and hence will hear about news stories and other information from online articles rather than a newspaper, etc. This means they would still be up to date on issues that my thriller discusses, and can hence still relate events to stories in real life. Also they would likely have more spare time due to a lack of job commitments and so on, and would have the time to indulge in viewing more media, such as viewing more films, and would hence be more knowledgeable when it comes to films and could even have a more extensive vocabulary or wider general knowledge than other young viewers, they would be intelligent enough to follow the sequence. The fact that my thriller is a Psychological thriller may alter the audience slightly - it could appeal more to an older demographic with it's complex nature, however I feel that it is more appealing to the specified target audience as specific aspects of my film were centered around them (see Question 5). Such Psychological thrillers include Shutter Island and Seven. I endeavored to capture the audiences of these films by matching aspects of them (again see Question 5). The audiences of these films would watch films not for the "jumpscares" that are seen in thrillers such as Paranormal Activity and others that verge on the border of the Horror genre, but more for the plot and engagement created in products such as Shutter Island and Seven. Linking back to my Research, they may also watch action films due to the popularity of that genre, hence it's inclusion in my piece.
